Nature’s Delicate Balance
I managed to grab a few spare moments in a local beauty spot for seemed to be the first time in ages. The best of spring seems to be over now but there’s still plenty to catch the eye if you’re prepared to look.
The following shot was taken with a 50mm f/1.8 using the reverse macro technique.

I don’t know what the insect was I’m afraid. I didn’t know there was such a thing as a black ladybird; I thought they only came in red with back spots – until now of course.

Oh no, might not be one, but there are some around, saw one inverse colours, red spots on black.. craziness
